- Apple System Profiler 1.3.1 (ASP) lets you gather
- information about the configuration of your computer.

- This software consists of a Disk Copy NDIF (New Disk Image
- Format) compressed image, which requires Disk Copy 6.1 or
- later to use. Download this software to your hard drive and
- then double-click it to use it. Disk Copy is available in
- the Utilities folder.

- Disk Copy 6.1 (or later) or Disk Image Mounter 2.1 (or
- later) from Apple are the recommended applications to access
- all disk images released by Apple and are the only supported
- applications to access NDIF disk images.

- Apple System Profiler 1.3.1 (ASP) lets you gather
- information about the configuration of your computer. The
- information that ASP reports may be useful if you need
- technical support.

- ASP 1.3.1 is compatible with all 68040-based Macintosh,
- Macintosh Performa and PowerBook computers, and with all
- PowerPC-based Power Macintosh, Macintosh Performa and
- PowerBook computers. ASP requires Mac OS 7.6 or later.

- To install ASP 1.3.1, move the ASP application file into the
- Apple Menu Items folder inside the System Folder.

- To use ASP, open the Apple menu and choose Apple System
- Profiler. The System Overview window will appear. Use the
- Select menu option to view other windows with information
- about network and communications, volumes, devices, control
- panels, extensions, System folders and applications. To
- create a report of the information gathered by ASP, use the
- Create Report option under the File menu option.
